Jimmy Anklesaria, F.C.A., LL.B., is the founder of Anklesaria Group, Inc. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and holds a law degree and an MBA. Mr.Anklesaria is the author of Supply Chain Cost Management: The AIM & DRIVE® Process for Achieving Extraordinary Results (AMACOM, 2007) and is co-author of Zero Base Pricing: Achieving World-Class Competitiveness Through Reduced All-In-Cost with David N. Burt and Warren E. Norquist. Mr.Anklesaria holds the international service mark for the AIM & DRIVE® process. He has published several articles and cases in leading purchasing and financial journals and texts in the United States and abroad.
One of the world's most sought-after speakers on cost management, he has positively influenced the procurement transformation process at numerous Fortune 500 companies. He has a unique ability to provide practical solutions to complex business problems and has been the keynote speaker and workshop leader for a number of organizations and companies.
Since 1985, he has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in Strategic Cost Management, Finance and Investments at the University of San Diego, where he has been named Outstanding Professor of the Year. He has also lectured in Strategic Cost Management at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago, Michigan State University, University of Southern California and Arizona State University. He currently teaches a graduate course in Supply Chain Management at the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego.
Oliver Rossi has been with the Anklesaria Group since 2000 and is a member of the Leadership Team where he works with all aspects of the education and consulting practices. His responsibilities include development and management of key accounts, instructor of the Anklesaria Cost Management Toolkit and facilitator of customer-supplier cost management workshops using the AIM & DRIVE® process. He has worked on projects with numerous companies including Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron, BP, Freeport McMoRan, Capital One, Deutsche Telekom, Hewlett Packard and Motorola. Oliver has also lectured in Strategic Cost Management and Supply Market Analysis at the University of San Diego, and is a native French speaker. He has a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
Shardu Malpani has been with the Anklesaria Group since October 2000. In October 2006 he moved to India and started Anklesaria Consulting Pvt. Ltd (ACPL) where he is the Managing Director. He is also a member of Anklesaria’s Leadership Team. Shardu’s responsibilities include development and management of key accounts, instructor of the Anklesaria Cost Management Toolkit and facilitator of customer-supplier cost management workshops using the AIM & DRIVE® process. Shardu has conducted seminars and facilitated workshops for several companies around the world. He has also been a guest speaker at the Institute of Supply Management and at the University of San Diego. Shardu has worked on projects with numerous companies including Royal Dutch Shell, LG Electronics, Agilent Technologies, BP, Halliburton, Anglo American, Motorola and Chevron. Shardu’s experience in developing cost models, conducting industry analysis, gathering market intelligence, implementing Strategic Cost Management techniques and facilitating AIM & DRIVE® workshops has helped clients save millions of dollars. Shardu has a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
Ryan Furnell holds degrees from the University of Melbourne in both Commerce and Information Systems. After completing a thesis on financial trading strategies, Mr.Furnell was invited to join UBS as an M&A analyst focused on company valuations and synergies for mining and industrial clients. Following this, Mr.Furnell delivered supply chain and business unit transformations for mining, grocery, banking, telecom, industrial and garment industries while working as a Management Consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. While at PWC, Mr.Furnell was also a full lecturer on Enterprise Performance Management at the University of Melbourne.
With Anklesaria, he has implemented organization wide sourcing strategies for energy and mining clients. He has delivered sustainable benefits to clients like Pfizer, Shell, LG and Nordstrom and is regarded for his fact-based approach to contractor performance improvement.
